    • Gain complimentary access to Outside+ Adventure Pass during your stay at participating Marriott Bonvoy® Outdoor category hotels in the U.S. and Canada.
    • Earn points on tracked activities via Outside’s suite of apps including Trailforks, Gaia GPS, MapMyWalk, MapMyRide, MapMyRun, and MapMyFitness. You can earn up to 50 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points per 10-minute or longer activity. Limit three times a day and a total of 5,000 points per year.
    • Earn 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points when you upgrade to Outside+.
    • For a limited time, through August 6, 2026, Outside+ subscribers can earn 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points when they link their account with their Marriott Bonvoy account. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member who also subscribes to Outside+, you’re also eligible for this limited-time bonus.
    • For a limited time, through August 6, 2026, Marriott Bonvoy members who are new to Outside or registered users of Outside, Trailforks, Gaia GPS, MapMyFitness, or other Outside-affiliated brands will receive a one-time, 14-day trial of the Outside+ Adventure Pass when they link their Outside account with their Marriott Bonvoy account.

  • Visit our Account Linking site and follow the prompts to link your accounts. You’ll be asked to log in or sign up for both programs to link your two accounts. When you have an upcoming stay at a Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors category property, you’ll receive an email reminder to activate your Outside+ Adventure Pass once you’re linked.   • During eligible stays at any participating Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors hotel, individuals who’ve linked their Marriott Bonvoy and Outside accounts are eligible to receive complimentary access to an Outside+ Adventure Pass by activating via your reminder email and downloading any of the Trailforks, Gaia GPS, or MapMyFitness suite of apps. During your stay, you’ll earn points on either tracked or synced activities using an integrated and verifiable means within the apps. In order to earn points, your activity must be at least 10 minutes in length and you are limited to three activities per day.   • An “eligible stay” means a stay of one or more consecutive nights at a participating Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors hotel by a linked member who: (a) provides the linked member’s name and Marriott Bonvoy account number at the time the reservation is made or at least 48 hours prior to check-in (whichever comes earlier); (b) pays a Qualifying Rate or applies an Award Redemption (such term is defined in the Marriott Bonvoy Program Rules for the stay); and (c) stays in one of the reserved guest rooms under the reservation. For this offer, an eligible stay begins at 12:00 a.m. local time on the check-in date and ends at 11:59 p.m. local time on the checkout date of an eligible stay. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to check-in date to earn points for tracked activities on the date of check-in.   • “Participating Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors hotels” are properties that participate in Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors as set forth in the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, excluding Homes and Villas by Marriott Bonvoy and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

  • Log in to your Marriott Bonvoy account on the Marriott Bonvoy App or at marriott.com/loyalty to see your points balance and activity.

  • Points earned during your stay can take up to seven business days after the applicable Marriott Bonvoy stay to post to your Marriott Bonvoy account. If more than seven business days have passed since the conclusion of the applicable stay and your points have not been posted to your account, please contact Marriott Bonvoy Customer Support.

  • No. Points will not be awarded retroactively. Accounts must be linked at the time of qualifying tracked activities and an eligible stay.

  • No. Forty-eight hours after you’ve linked your accounts, you’ll automatically earn points with the program when you complete qualifying activities. However, to earn points, you’ll need to activate your Outside+ Adventure Pass prior to your stay to receive access and to ensure your activities are tracked.   • Please allow 48 hours for your Marriott Bonvoy and Outside accounts to complete the linking process. After such time, you should receive an activation email for your Outside+ Adventure Pass. After this, you’ll begin to automatically earn points on activities tracked through Outside’s apps during eligible stays, as long as your Marriott Bonvoy number is included in your hotel reservation. Please contact Marriott Bonvoy for further support.

  • Yes. Marriott Bonvoy® points can expire. Marriott Bonvoy members must remain active in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program to retain points they accumulate.

    • If a member account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, that member account will forfeit all accumulated points.
    • Members can remain active in the loyalty program and retain accumulated points by earning points or miles, redeeming Marriott Bonvoy® points, and/or purchasing points in the loyalty program at least once every 24 months.
    • The points expiration policy does not currently affect Marriott Bonvoy points in a Lifetime Elite member account; however, the loyalty program may choose to apply a points expiration policy to Lifetime Elite member accounts in the future (based on reward order date).

  • No. If you’ve linked your accounts prior to your stay, you’ll receive a notice to “activate” your Outside+ Adventure Pass. You’ll receive access to your Adventure Pass prior to your stay, but you’re only eligible to earn points via tracked activities during your eligible stay. If you’ve linked accounts during your stay, please allow 48 hours after you’ve linked your accounts. You’ll automatically earn points for eligible activities, as long as your Marriott Bonvoy number is included in your hotel reservation.

  • If you’ve linked your accounts, you may earn up to 50 Marriott Bonvoy points per activity, 150 Marriott Bonvoy points per day (three tracked activities per day), and up to 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per calendar year.

  • Your Outside account is tied to your email address. Click here if you need help logging in.

  • Yes. Your accounts will still be linked. No further action is needed.

  • You may click here to unlink your Marriott Bonvoy account from your Outside account. Please allow five days for processing. Once unlinked, you’ll no longer have access to your Outside+ Adventure Pass or earn Marriott Bonvoy bonus points through the program. At this time, if you unlink your accounts, you’ll be unable to relink them.
